The midfielder has been a free agent since dissolving his contract with Galatasaray earlier this summer and has been linked with a number of different clubs. However, he has decided on a move to France, with Sneijder set to undergo his medical on Monday before signing a one-year deal with the club, who knocked Ajax out of the Champions League last week.
The move will keep Sneijder in contention to be involved with the Dutch national team, who face France at the end of this month and Bulgaria in September.
Nice will be Sneijder’s fourth foreign club since leaving Ajax, with the 33-year-old enjoying spells with Real Madrid and Inter Milan before joining Galatasaray in 2013.
