Wesley Sneijder will take the first steps towards making his comeback later this month when he starts training with amateur side DHSC.

The 36-year-old has been retired for two years but is in talks with Utrecht over a possible comeback in the Eredivisie.

Sneijder is currently unfit but he is set to work on his condition by training with amateur side DHSC, coached by Gert Kruys.

According to RTV Utrecht, Sneijder will appear on the training field from the 27th of July and work on a special schedule to get him back to top condition.
