Sno trained with Erwin Koeman’s side last week, and has impressed the club enough to begin negotiations over a permanent deal. His agent Brian Berkleef told Voetbal international, “We are in the final phase of discussions”
The 26 year old played for RKC during the 2011/12 season, appearing 25 times for the Waalwijk side, but as he was only on a one year deal, he then moved to NEC Nijmegen the following summer.
However after only seven appearances for NEC, Sno was released in the summer, and although he trained with FC twente he did not get offered a contract.
The ex-Ajax and Celtic midfielder’s career has stalled after he suffered two separate heart attacks whilst on the pitch, firstly with Ajax, and then again with NEC.
Sno now plays with a Cardiac defibrillator in his body to help his body cope with any offer attacks he suffers whilst on the pitch.
The former Netherlands U21’s star will be hopeful that a move to RKC will allow him to get his injury hit career back on track after a frustrating year.
