According to the Independent, Southampton have made a £15.46 million bid for Lazio’s Dutch centre-back Wesley Hoedt.

The Premier League side are eyeing a new centre-back, but not as a replacement for Virgil van Dijk who they insist is not for sale at any price this summer, and have set their sights on Hoedt.
The Independent is reporting that a £15.46 million bid has been submitted with Lazio for the 23-year-old who joined the Serie A side on a free transfer from AZ Alkmaar in 2015.
Hoedt has since made 61 appearances for Lazio, scoring four goals.
