Sparta Rotterdam and FC Twente played out a 0-0 draw at het Kasteel on Thursday evening.

Both teams went into the game in poor form with Sparta losing two on the bounce, while Twente are on a three-game winless run.
The first-half was one to forget with a Lennart Thy strike that flew into the hands of Joel Drommel the only real chance of note.
Early in the second half, Drommel denied Deroy Duarte and Abdou Harroui put the rebound over the bar. Drommel also denied Danzell Gravenberch late on. At the other end, Twente were poor and created very little as Luciano Narsingh had almost zero impact on his first start for the club.
The draw means Twente remains seventh while Sparta rises to tenth.
