Sparta Rotterdam central defender Crescendo van Berkel is on trial with Eredivisie outfit SC Cambuur.

The trial is set to last for at least the rest of the week and could be extended beyond that period if the defender impresses Cambuur boss Henk de Jong.
The 22 year old is contracted with The Castle lords till the 2015 season however the second division club will not ask for a fee should the trial be successful.
Since making his debut in 2011 van Berkel has made 30 appearances in Eerste Divisie, but barely played for the club last season.
Cambuur have already signed five players this summer, including Furdjel Narsingh from PEC Zwolle and Etienne Reijnen from AZ Alkmaar.
