Sparta Rotterdam have announced the signing of Zakaria El Azzouzi on loan from Ajax.

Sparta are preparing for their return to the Eredivisie next season and have started their summer business early with the signing of El Azzouzi.
The 20-year-old will spend the whole of next season on loan in Rotterdam and offer a new dimension to Alex Pastoor’s sides attack.
El Azzouzi spent part of last season on loan with FC Twente, scoring five goals in thirteen league games. The Enschede club were hopeful of renewing his loan deal, but Sparta Rotterdam have swooped to snatch the Moroccan.
Sparta Rotterdam also announced the signing of FC Twente goalkeeper Michael Verrips on a free transfer.
