Sparta Rotterdam have made their first recruit ahead of a return to the Eredivisie with Craig Goodwin signing from Adelaide United.

The Rotterdam club have announced through their website that the 24-year-old will undergo a medical on Monday before signing his two-year-deal.
Coach Alex Pastoor told the website, “We have captured Craig Goodwin for two seasons with the option of an additional season.
“Craig is a multifunctional player who can cover the entire left side and also on the right side be an attacking threat.”
Goodwin, who is usually deployed on the left wing was named Adelaide United player of the season during their last campaign.
