Sparta Rotterdam have confirmed the signing of centre-back Sander Fischer on a one-year deal with the option of another.

The defender has been without a club since leaving relegated Go Ahead Eagles at the end of last season, but he has now sealed a return to the Eredivisie.
On Saturday, Sparta Rotterdam confirmed that Fischer had signed for the club on a one-year deal.
The 28-year-old played at Excelsior for three and a half years before joining Go Ahead Eagles last year.
