Craig Goodwin struck late on to earn Sparta Rotterdam a 1-1 draw against local rivals Excelsior.

The first half in the Stadion Woudestein saw both sides create very little, with Robert Mühren passing up the best opportunity for Sparta, while at the other end Roy Kortsmit saved well from Mike van Duinen.
Early in the second half, Excelsior took the lead through Milan Massop, who diverted Luigi Bruins shot past Kortsmit.
Sparta went in search of an equaliser before the end with Muhren missing a decent chance before Ragner Ache came off the bench. With four minutes to go, Craig Goodwin found the net with a free kick to earn Sparta a point.
Sparta remain bottom of the table despite the point, while Excelsior are 11th.
