FC Cincinnati has qualified for the MLS is back knockout stages after defeating New York Red Bulls 2-0.

After defeating Frank de Boer’s Atalanta United 1-0, Stam’s side took on New York Red Bulls. Siem de Jong started on the bench, while David Jensen was in goal for New York.
In the 43rd minute, Yuya Kubo gave FC Cincinnati the lead just before the break from the edge of the box. Then just before the hour mark, an error from Jensen allowed a header from his teammate Florian Valot to find the net to make it 2-0.
With six points from their two games, FC Cincinnati finish second in the group and they head into the knockout stages.
