AZ Alkmaar winger Calvin Stengs has been called up to the Netherlands squad after Steven Bergwijn and Mohamed Ihattaren were forced to pull out through injury.

Stengs was in the provisional Netherlands squad for the up and coming games against Mexico, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Italy, but dropped out when Frank de Boer made his final selection.
He was named in the U21 squad, but after Bergwijn and Ihattaren were forced to pull out, De Boer called in Stengs as a replacement.
The injury will be frustrating for Ihattaren, who was hoping to make his Netherlands debut over the next week.
