Feyenoord winger Steven Berghuis spoke to the NOS after his team’s 4-1 home defeat to Ajax in ”De Klassieker” in Rotterdam.

Berghuis stated that he and his teammates are gutted to have lost at home to Ajax but admitted the Amsterdam side were the better team.
He said, ”We are gutted to have lost 4-1 at home to Ajax. We only managed to perform the way we wanted to in the match for about 15 minutes.
”Ajax were better in everything today. We were not good enough today. We did not play well and we should have done more today. I did also not play well today and it’s difficult to know what to say.
”We have to keep working hard that is the only way to turn this around that and the fact that players have to return from injury.”
