Vreven stated that he feels the result is the biggest disappointment of his career so far both as a player and a manager.
He said, ”Frustration is not the right word to describe our performance tonight. This is probably the biggest disappointment of my career so far as a player and a manager.
”I believe it to be unacceptable to concede 4 goals to an amateur club in a KNVB cup match. We may not make excuses and we take full responsibility for the defeat.
”It is also an example of where we are as a team at the moment. If things are not going well then as a team then we start to only think as individuals and in that manner we are not good enough.
”There is no excuse to be eliminated in the KNVB cup by an amateur team.”
