Streppel was pleased with the victory and also lauded the performances of Aber Zaneli and Martin Odegaard after their return to the squad from injury.

Streppel said, ”I am pleased with our result tonight and I am also satisfied with our style of play. We played well in the first-half and we were really dominant.

”We pose a threat to many Eredivisie teams with our attacking play and the height we have in our team.

”Aber Zaneli is very important to us. He played really well today. He is a player with a lot of intuition, good pace and has an eye for goal too.

”We want to remain stable and we are happy that we players such as Aber Zaneli and Martin Odegaard have returned to the squad after injury.

” We are also happy to have picked up seven points from three games after the winter break and we are looking ahead to our midweek game against PEC Zwolle this Tuesday.

”We lost 2-1 at home to PEC Zwolle earlier this season and I thought we were unlucky to lose the game so we have a chance to right a wrong.”
