lens sunderLens was fined and dropped for the loss to Chelsea last weekend after refusing to warm down with his fellow substitute’s following a defeat to Watford. The Dutchman then spoke to Dutch media and stated his unhappiness at his situation at the club and confirmed he could leave in January.

Speaking at his weekly press conference, Sam Allardyce stated Lens would be part of his squad for the tie with Manchester City on Saturday after talking to the former PSV star.

He said, “He has trained with the group again and goes into to the squad. Measures have been taken against him now and that’s the end of it. We can move on.”

However Allardyce then refused to rule out Lens leaving in January, “If he tells me that there is a club that wants to buy him, then we’ll look at that. Maybe we can come to a deal. ”

Lens joined Sunderland in the summer from Dynamo Kiev, and has netted twice in 12 Premier League appearances.
