Francesco Guidolin was impressed with the midfielder and Swansea City have now agreed a £4.5 million fee to make the move permanent, according to the BBC.

Fer joined QPR in 2014 for £8 million from Norwich City, but could not prevent the London-based side from being relegated to the English Championship in his first season. He now leaves for Wales and will shortly be joined by fellow Dutchman Mike van der Hoorn, who is set to complete his move from Ajax in the next few days.
