The 25-year-old hasn’t featured for Heerenveen this season after a move to Russia broke down in the summer. Te Vrede had no future with the Frisian’s and his departure was confirmed on Sunday after signing a three-year contract with Boluspor.
Boluspor are currently fifth in the second division and already have two Dutchmen in their ranks with Anco Jansen and Rydell Poepen.
Te Vrede signed for Heerenveen in 2015 from Feyenoord and scored 10 league goals for the club.
