Erik ten Hag has denied claims that Ajax are hoping to sign Barcelona forward Luis Suarez.

Over the past week, Ajax have been heavily linked with a move to bring the Uruguayan back to Amsterdam. However, Ten Hag has poured cold water on these stories.
He told AD on Friday, “None of that is true. You are always looking for ways to strengthen your team. Of course I talked about it with Marc, but at the moment it is not an issue.”
Ten Hag will keep the door open for Suarez, “If he wants to come back himself, please,” he says with a laugh. “You have players that you get as replacements and you have players in the category that they give an incredible boost to the team. Suárez falls in that category.”
