Ajax head coach Erik ten Hag was once again asked about the links to Manchester United at his press conference before the clash with Besiktas.

Ten Hag’s name has been put forward for the Manchester United position but De Telegraaf reported on Monday that the coach had given assurances that he would remain in Amsterdam.
Speaking at his press conference on Tuesday ahead of the Champions League clash with Besiktas, Ten Hag was asked about the rumours. He responded, “I’m working with Ajax.
“I don’t have to talk about it further, because no one has reported. I don’t know the plans and strategies of other clubs and those of Ajax. We want to win titles this season and then full focus is needed.”
Ten Hag is flattered by the links but it is not a distraction, “It doesn’t distract me, but of course it’s nice to be associated with clubs like this.”
