Erik ten Hag has been named as the Dutch coach of the year after an excellent season with Utrecht.

The majority of the head coaches in the Eredivisie named Ten Hag as the winner of the award and his name was announced at the annual Coaching congress in Zwolle.
Ten Hag beat off competition from Frank de Boer, Phillip Cocu, Ron Jans and John Stegeman to earn the accolade for the first time.
The former Bayern Munich II coach led Utrecht to the KNVB Cup final this season, losing out to Feyenoord 2-1, and in the league, the club are currently fifth and easing into the end of season European play-offs.
