In January, Chelsea sacked Frank Lampard and then quickly appointed Thomas Tuchel as his successor.
However, AD is reporting that Chelsea also considered Erik ten Hag as a possible replacement for Lampard. However, Chelsea went with Tuchel, who was without a club.
Ten Hag was linked with Borussia Monchengladbach by BILD, but AD has reports that the Ajax boss has not spoken to the German club.
