The final 40 nominees for the Golden Boy award have been announced with three Dutchman still in the running.

Matthijs de Ligt won the award last year and he is once again in the running for the prestigious prize.

He is joined in the top forty candidates by PSV Eindhoven attacker Donyell Malen and Roma winger Justin Kluivert. Also in the running is Feyenoord winger Luis Sinisterra.

The top 40 will be whittled down to 10 on the 15th of October.
