In the video below, Aron Johannsson, Anass Achabar, Ricardo van Rhijn and Joshua Brenet all feature in our round up of the top ten goals to be scored in the Eredivisie. Use the comment box to pick your favourite.
10) Uroš Đurđević – Lovely footwork in the area to evade the Ajax defenders and then a powerful finish past Cillessen.
9) Jeffrey Sarpong – Worked some space with a step-over before unleashing an unstoppable drive into the top corner with his weaker left foot.
8) Anass Achabar – Beautiful volley into the corner. A very difficult technique to volley the ball over the shoulder into the opposite corner of the goal. A very important goal for Achabar personally, to help him force his way into the Feyenoord team.
7) Jeff Stans – Great first touch from the long ball and a fantastic volley.
6) Aron Jóhannsson – Very recent goal from the Icelander. Superb strike of the ball from 35 yards!
5) Sam Larsson – Terrific goal from Heerenveen. Started with a nutmeg from Mark Uth, followed by a rabona cross from Joey van den Berg and finished by the Swede Larsson.
4) Colin Kazim-Richards – Another great strike in this top 10. With his back to goal, the Turk turned on the ball and dug out a swerving shot that flew into the top corner.
3) Simon Poulsen – Tricked his way past a few ADO players down AZ’s left-hand side and unleashed a venomous shot that bounced in off the woodwork.
2) Ricardo van Rhijn – An early season wonder goal from the Ajax right-back. The best free-kick seen this season which left Netherlands international goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer rooted to the spot.
1) Joshua Brenet – Deserved winner of the goal of the season. After a corner is cleared away for PSV, Brenet picks up the ball and blasts a half-volley past a helpless Warner Hahn.
