Janssen was loaned to Fenerbahce for the season in the summer after a disappointing first campaign in the Premier League. The Dutch international has since netted two goals in eleven league games in a loan hampered with injuries.

According to Fanatik, Tottenham included a clause in the deal which would allow the club to recall Janssen in January and the English side are reportedly considering activating it.

Fernando Llorente has only scored one goal all season as back-up to Harry Kane, and Janssen could be recalled in a hope to add more goals from the bench. However, the more likely option is that Tottenham recall Janssen to sell him permanently in a bid to raise funds. Fanatik report that Napoli are one of the clubs interested in signing the forward.
