According to reports in England, Louis van Gaal could still take over as Tottenham boss in the summer after the club took a shine to the Dutchman.

Tottenham appointed Tim Sherwood as their new head coach last week on an 18 month contract to replace the sacked Andre Villas-Boas.
However according to the Daily Mail, Tottenham director Daniel Levy was so impressed with Van Gaal when meeting the Netherlands boss last week that he could offer him a role in the summer.
Whether Van Gaal takes over as head coach, or goes into an advisory role will depend on how Sherwood does in the role between now and the end of the season.
Van Gaal will leave his post as Netherlands boss after the World Cup in Brazil next summer, and is keen to get back into club football management. The 62-year-old former Bayern Munich, Ajax, and Barcelona coach is said to favour a position in the Premier League having never managed in England before.
It is obvious that Levy cannot lose on this 18 month contract. If Sherwood is a hidden talent and blinding manager then great, but if not pay off remainder of contract (12 months or so) and get Vann Gaal. Being a lifelong Spurs fan I cannot think of a time when we tried and succeeded with a manager with so little experience as Sherwood.
Don’t think totenham is a ‘big’ club for his reputation. remember , wherever he coach before, for sure he will win trophies so totenham is not him.
what a GREAT site this is!!!
just stumbled across it – keep up the AMAZING work
Hey orange fan 4eva,
You obviously dont know much about English football. Tottenham IS a big club. Big club means a club with both money AND history. In this aspect, you can say Tottenham is even bigger than Man City due to its hisyory, although right now Man City is richer
