blind 1The London Evening Standard are reporting that the Premier League side have sent scouts to the Amsterdam Arena with Blind their target, and are preparing a summer bid.

The son of Ajax legend Danny Blind, Daley made his debut for the club in 2008, and despite having a tough time early on in his career, the Dutch international is now one of the most highly rated players at the Eredivisie Champions.

Blind made a name for himself as a left back, but has been hugely impressive since being moved into a midfield role by Frank de Boer this season, and its in this central position that the nine cap Netherlands international’s future may lie.

The 24-year-old has a contract with Ajax until 2016, and is expected to be among the senior players leaving the club at the end of this season, along with Siem de Jong, and Niklas Moisander.
