The striker has failed to impress since his big money move from AZ Alkmaar to Spurs in the summer, with Janssen yet to score a goal from open play.
However, speaking to Algameen Dagblad, Harry Kane has backed Janssen to succeed but admitted he needs to remain patient.
Kane said, “Vincent must remain calm, keep patience. Then I’m sure it’ll be fine. Vincent is a great player.
“He’s young, but blessed with a great attitude and a lot of talent. He has to get used to the pace in the Premier League, that seems logical to me. That is the same with many players, especially at his age.”
