According to Voetbal Primeur, Manchester United and West Ham United are the latest clubs to show their interest in AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen.

Tottenham and Wolfsburg have already held talks with the 21-year-old, but will now face stiff competition for the €15 million rated star. West Ham United and Manchester United have both reportedly contacted AZ to announce their interest.

Reading boss Jaap Stam not planning Ajax raid

New Reading boss Jaap Stam has stated he will not raid his former club Ajax for some of their talents.

Stam is quoted by GetReading saying, “Just because I’ve been working at Ajax, it doesn’t mean I will be buying players from Ajax.

“I think you have to look at what’s possible to get in the UK as well, looking at physical players who you need in this competition. Those sort of players are in the UK already.

Fiorentina targeting Propper

According to Sky Italia, Fiorentina are interested in signing PSV Eindhoven midfielder Davy Propper.

Propper has just had an excellent first season in Eindhoven, netting ten goals and adding 11 assists, which have seen the former Vitesse star break into the Netherlands squad.

Fiorentina have now set their sights on the 24-year-old, but any move would not be cheap with Propper still contracted until 2019.

Gorter leaves NAC Breda

After Sjoerd Ars, Danny Gorter has become the latest player to depart NAC Breda after activating a clause in his contract.

The 28-year-old left-back has been with the club for a year after joining from AZ Alkmaar, but after missing out on promotion he has decided to depart.

Heerings joins Austrians

Kai Heerings has joined Austrian side Sankt Polten, signing a two-year deal.

The 26-year-old is a free agent after leaving an unsuccessful spell at Cambuur. Heerings previously played for Utrecht.
