FC Twente have confirmed the signing of Halil Dervisoglu from Brentford on a season-long loan deal.

Last January, Dervisoglu left Sparta Rotterdam for Brentford in a €3 million deal. However, the winger only appeared in four Championship games.
FC Twente have now brought the winger back to the Netherlands on a loan deal.
The 20-year-old told the club’s website, “I’m excited. The first contacts immediately gave confidence and a push to choose FC Twente. An interesting club with a nice stadium. The team has started well this season and has the ambitions to achieve something, I want to be part of that.”
Dervisoglu still has a contract with Brentford until 2024.
