FC Twente have secured their third win in a row after a 1-0 victory over Roda JC in Kerkrade.

After a tepid first half the deadlock was finally broken just after the hour mark with Jeroen van der Lely playing an excellent through ball for Chinedu Ede, who controlled the ball with one touch before firing into the bottom corner.
Roda JC failed to wake up after the opening goal and Twente could have doubled their advantage through Hakim Ziyech and Jerson Cabral, but they settled for a 1-0 win in the end.
The victory lifts Twente up to thirteenth, with Roda JC one place below.
