FC Twente have confirmed the signing of Napoli centre back Bruno Uvini on a season long loan.

The Brazilian arrives in Enschede as a replacement for Andreas Bjelland who joined Brentford this summer. The deal is for a season long loan, but Twente have the option to make it permanent.
After starting his career with Sao Paulo, Uvini’s first experience of European football was an unsuccessful loan in 2011 with Tottenham Hotspur. A move then followed to Napoli, but the centre back only made one appearance for the Serie A side, whilst spending time with Siena and back home in Brazil with Santos.
Uvini has three caps for the Brazilian national team.
