The Eredivisie resumed on Friday evening with FC Twente defeating Emmen 2-0.

After a break of 54 days, the Eredivisie resumed in Enschede and it took only five minutes for Ricky van Wolfswinkel to open the scoring. The striker found the net with a clever finish to put Twente in front.

Twente dominated but they had to wait until the 67th minute to make it 2-0 with Michal Sadilek scoring with a placed shot. It was an emotional moment for the midfielder, who had missed most of the season through injury.

Emmen could find know way back into the game so Twente temporarily rises to fourth in the table. Emmen is in 16th spot.
