Enes Unal and Bersant Celina scored as FC Twente eased to a 4-1 win over ADO Den Haag in Enschede.

unal-twentFor the first time since he netted a hat-trick against Groningen in August, Twente were able to call Enes Unal into their starting eleven as they went with an all Manchester City loanee front-three. The Turkish forward led the line with Yaw Yeboah and Bersant Celina on the wings.

It took only 13 minutes for Unal to make an impact as he rifled a 30-yard free kick over the wall and into the bottom corner to give the hosts a deserved early lead. Yaw Yeboah curled another free kick inches wide as Twente continued to dominate the opening stages and just after the half hour mark, Unal found the net again with a perfect header into the corner from Kamohelo Mokotjo’s cross.

Ten minutes into the second half it was 3-0 as Frederik Jensen burst into the box before his blocked effort fell to Celina, who had his first shot blocked, but slotted the follow up into the net.

On 88 minutes, Kevin Janssen pulled one back for ADO Den Haag but moments later Kamohelo Mokotjo rounded off a resounding win for the home side.

The win moved Twente to 7th while ADO Den Haag are one place above in sixth.
