Ajax’s U19’s made an excellent start to the UEFA Youth League, hammering AEK Athens 6-0.

John Heitinga’s side were ahead in the sixth minute through Nicolas Kühn who finished well after an excellent run by Jurgen Ekkelenkamp from midfield.

Twenty minutes later, Che Nunnely fired in an excellent second goal and before the break, Victor Jensen added the third after a good team move.

Substitute Sontje Hansen added the fourth after being set up by Kühn before Sergino Dest capitalised on a goalkeeping error to make it 5-0.

15-year-old midfielder Naci Unuvar came off the bench and dispatched a penalty to complete the rout. He replaces Ryan Gravenberch as Ajax’s youngest scorer in the competition.
