A 90th minute equaliser saw Ajax come away from Bayern Munich with a 2-2 draw in their second game of the UEFA Nations League.

Ajax, who beat AEK Athens 6-0 two weeks ago, began the game brightly and were ahead in the second minute when Noa Lang fired in after being set up by Victor Jensen.

John Heitinga’s side maintained their lead until the hour mark when Bayern centre-back Lars Lukas Mai headed in a corner. Bayern then took the lead with twenty minutes to go through Meritan Shabani.

Ajax pushed for an equaliser and in the 90th minute, defender Sven Botman fired in after a scramble to seal a deserved point.

Ajax now have four points which is two less than Benfica, who beat AEK Athens 3-1 in the group’s other tie.
