Ajax U19’s made it two wins out of two in the UEFA Youth League with a 5-3 victory in Valencia.

After their 4-0 victory over Lille two weeks ago, Ajax got off to a good start in Valencia with Youri Regeer opening the scoring in the 16th minute. Nordin Musampa then made it 2-0 eight minutes later.

Valencia pulled one back through Pablo Gonzalbez but Regeer made it 3-1 just before the break.

Ajax were cruising when a Gutierrez own-goal made it 4-1 in the 52nd minute before Regeer completed his hattrick before the hour mark.

Ruiz Montero made it 5-2 and two minutes later Valencia were awarded a penalty which Daan Reiziger saved but he could do nothing to prevent Jordi Escobar from scoring on the rebound.

The match finished 5-3 which means Ajax are top of the table and three points ahead of Lille. Up next are back to back matches with Chelsea.
