Manchester City loanee Enes Unal was once again on fine form for Twente as they saw off Vitesse 2-1 in Enschede to move up to sixth in the Eredivisie.

unal-twe-vitThe Turkish striker had netted three times in his last two appearances and only needed 16 minutes to add to that tally, finishing off an excellent cross by left back Dejan Trajkovski.

Twente thought they had doubled their lead on the stroke of half time when Yaw Yeboah netted, but referee Jeroen Manschot, to the disbelief of the home crowd, disallowed the goal for an apparent foul. Replays showed the goal should have stood.

Vitesse went looking for an equaliser in the second half but struggled to create chances and eventually Twente doubled their lead as Bersant Celina found the bottom corner after good work by Chinedu Ede. Vitesse would pull a goal back in injury time with Lewis Baker finding the top corner with a lovely strike from distance but Twente held on to claim the three points.

Twente rise to sixth while Vitesse drop to seventh.
