Talented young striker Nick Venema has signed a new contract with Utrecht until 2023.

The striker made a big impression with Jong Utrecht last season and at the start of this campaign which earned him a place in Dick Advocaat’s plans.
The 19-year-old has scored four times in ten Eredivisie appearances so far and has become a crowd favourite, despite not being guaranteed a starting spot yet.
Utrecht have shown their confidence in the young forward by offering him a new contract until 2023.
Utrecht director Jordy Zuidam told the club’s website, “We are extremely proud that we have opened and extended Nick’s contract.
“The duration of the new commitment says something about the trust we have in Nick and vice versa. We are convinced that Nick can take the next steps with us and we are proud that we are facing the future with a player from our own region and our own training, which is very popular with the public.”
