FC Utrecht have ended FC Twente’s unbeaten start to the season after coming from a goal down to win 2-1.

FC Twente headed to Utrecht full of confidence after an excellent start to the campaign, and after a minute, Danilo Pereira fired the visitors in front. It was the Brazilian’s fifth goal of the season so far.

Utrecht took a while to get going and two minutes before the break they levelled when Bart Ramselaar lashed the ball into the net after a cross wasn’t cleared.

Two minutes into the second half, Sander van de Streek made it 2-1 for the hosts after taking advantage of a stumble in the Twente defence.

Twente failed to find an equaliser before the end, while Ramselaar had another goal disallowed for offside.

Utrecht are now seventh while Twente are in fifth.
