boymans aasDanny Verbeek was signed by Belgian side Standard Liege in 2012 but was immediately sent out on loan to NAC Breda, where he has made 53 appearances over the past two seasons, and scored nine goals.

The 23-year-old winger started his career with Den Bosch, and impressed with 19 goals in 88 games, but chances in the Standard Liege first team are few and far between, leading to another loan move until the end of the season.

Ruud Boymans, who failed to make an impact at AZ after joining them in 2011, was sent on loan to Eerste Divisie side Willem II last season, and was one of the most impressive players in the Dutch second division.

As Willem II stormed to the title, the 25-year-old striker netted an impressive 27 goals in 36 games, and has now signed a four-year-deal with Utrecht after they agreed an undisclosed fee with AZ.
