Utrecht will face Heracles in the European play-off final after a comfortable 5-2 win over ten-man PEC Zwolle.

ramselaar utre jfjUtrecht were strong favourites going into the second leg after they held PEC Zwolle to a 0-0 draw on Thursday and it took only four minutes for them to take the lead. Sebastien Haller slid the ball into the net from close range.

On 23 minutes it was 2-0 with Bart Ramselaar racing through on goal before sliding the ball past De Jong and moments later it was three with Christian Kum netting from a free-kick. The defender seemed to use his arm but the goal stood.

Queensy Menig pulled one back for PEC Zwolle early in the second half but any chance of a comeback was ruined minutes later when Bart van Hintum was shown his second yellow card. Giovanni Troupee then made it 4-1 on 62 minutes before Wout Brama pulled back a consolation for PEC Zwolle.

Haller made it 5-2 from the penalty spot on 73 minutes after Rubio Rubin was brought down in the box.

Utrecht will now face Heracles in the play-off final. The first leg is on Thursday and the second on Sunday.
