Cillessen moved to Valencia last summer from Barcelona looking to once again become a starting goalkeeper. However, the Netherlands number one has failed to impress in his 16 league games.
Accoriding to Sport and Mundo Deportivo, Valencia wants to part with Cillessen this summer, with a return to Ajax a possibility.
Valencia are now looking to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea on loan. The stopper cost the English side around €80 million from Athletic Bilbao, but was replaced by veteran Willy Caballero this season.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
