Nicolai Jorgensen netted the only goal at De Kuip as Feyenoord beat Real Sociedad and afterwards van Bronckhorst spoke to NOS about Steven Berghuis, and the possibility of Robin van Persie signing from Fenerbahce.

van Bronckhorst said, ”We are very close to signing Steven Berghuis and I hope we can finalize that in the coming days.

”I am satisfied with our transfer window. We have brought in quality players in the positions we felt needed to be strengthened.

”I can’t say much about Robin van Persie naturally people read a lot and it is no secret that we think Robin is a fantastic player who would be welcome here at Feyenoord with his quality and experience. But at the moment we have nothing to report.”
