Feyenoord boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst was disappointed with Jerry St Juste after his early red card led to a 3-0 defeat at Ajax.

St Juste saw red in the sixth minute for a nasty challenge on Nicolas Tagliafico and that led to Ajax running out comfortable winners in De Klassieker.

After the game, Van Bronckhorst told Fox Sports on the red card, “Then you know it’s going to be a very difficult game, especially against Ajax, I’m angry with Jerry, yes, you can not get into a top match with ten men, you can not do that and it happens after six minutes.

“Healthy aggression and passion is what you need to win these matches, but you should not go wrong in that, I have indicated in advance that you have to play with your mind.

“I think we were there as a team today, however difficult it is to play with ten men, we did a good job, but the red card costs you the match, I think I’m going to talk to Jerry anyway, yes. “
