Belgian defender Daniel van Buyten has rebuffed an approach from PSV Eindhoven according to Eindhoven Dagblad.

The 36 year old was wanted by the Eredivisie giants to marshal the center of their defence but the defender does not want to play in Eredivisie.
Van Buyten who put in impressive performances at the World Cup for his country is a free agent after German Champions Bayern Munich decided not to renew his contract. He would have been ideal for the Boeren who have little to spend and have a tough season ahead and a campaign in UEFA Europa league.
The Former Standard Liege man who has nearly 500 games to his name may join his former club Olympique Marseille in French Ligue 1.
