The Dutch international’s five Premier League appearances so far have all come from the bench, and he once again did not start on Saturday as Manchester United headed to Everton.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under pressure as Manchester United boss and he watched his side fall behind to Bernard’s opener. However, Bruno Fernandes turned the game around with a double and Edison Cavani added a third before the end.
Van de Beek remained on the bench for the whole game, meaning he stays on a meager 74 minutes in the Premier League since he joined United from Ajax.
