Ajax have officially confirmed that Edwin van der Sar is the new CEO of the club.

The appointment was confirmed at the Annual General Meeting for shareholders, with van der Sar taking over from Dolf Collee, who leaves Ajax after a year.
Van der Sar was the commercial director of the club, but Menno van Geelen has now taken over that position. The former goalkeeper will remain chairman of the technical heart of Ajax.
