The 33-year-old former Ajax star joined the Spanish side last summer, but only featured in seven league games, failing to score a single goal.
Speaking as a Euro 2016 analyst on NOS, Van der Vaart stated his intention to leave Betis this summer, adding, “I just want to play football,”
A lucrative move to China has been rumoured, but the midfielder would demand a hefty salary to consider it as an option, “If it is far away, then there must be money in return.”
Van der Vaart still has two years left on his contract with Betis, and doesn’t know how much the club would demand for him, “We have not talked about it.”
Rafael ıs a great player but he has no luck hope he wıll return to play ın Holland & comeback ın Dutch team. Good luck Van Der Vaart.
