Dutch international right-back Gregory van der Wiel is set to complete a move to MLS side Toronto FC.

The former Ajax and PSG star has been with Serie A side Cagliari for the past six months, but has only made five appearances in the Italian league.
According to De Telegraaf, Cagliari have now allowed Van der Wiel to leave for an adventure in Canada with Toronto FC. The 29-year-old will sign a two-year-contract with the MLS side after his medical.
